Passive house

Passive House is a building that meets voluntary, but strict criterias for energy savings in the operation of the house. The concept of a passive house is not an architectural style or building system, but the part of the drafting and designing new buildings or reconstruction.

Passive house has many advantages:

• More comfortable life
• Extremely low heating costs
• Constant flow of fresh air
• Do not be a draft
• High thermal comfort in the room
• Pleasant temperatures in winter and in summer

Heat saving 

In Europe there is the basic requirement for a passive house, in order house remain comfortable for living and requirement of energy consumption for heating must be maximum 15 kWh/m2 heated area per year. In common family house, which has a floor space around 120 m2, consumption employed 1800 kWh.

Heating a room of 20 square meters, you need just 200 watts. Delivered energy has to also come from renewable sources. This means that passive house uses four times less energy than the average new building, which meet current European standards. Environmental and economic benefits of this type of construction are therefore obvious.
